See statues of Queen Victoria of England and the first Governor General of the independent Bahamas. Visit Parliament-square where the Bahamian Laws are made and learn about the various Governments that controlled these Islands. Stop At: I Dream of Sugar Sugar Rush Lounge Next Stop At: The Queen's Staircase Next Stop At: Next, we leave Nassau and cross over a bridge (Sir Sidney Poitier Bridge) to Paradise Island. Here, guest will be able to explore picturesque Atlantis and walk through the Casino and the gift shops. Take a photo in the King's Throne. Explore the allure of the ancient civilized society of Atlantis. Stop At: Queen's Staircase, Also know as "The 66 Steps". This 102ft natural staircase was carved out of the limestone rocks by slaves in the late 1700's to commemorate the 66 year rule of Queen Victoria over her British Empire.
